This simple app extends the ability to clone fields at the click of a button to system fields. System fields cannot be cloned with native Zendesk functionality, and this app fixes that.
Ideas for use:

• Clone the native Group field, and then use the Group Field Sync (link) app to make your Zendesk forms reactive to group changes in real time.
• Clone the Description or Group fields to create a version of these fields that can be displayed in forms.
• Clone your Type or Priority fields to create drop-downs with associated tags.

How to use this app

1. Click the app logo (image) in the left margin of the Support page to open the app.
2. Select the field you want to clone, and click the “Create a clone of…” button.
3. Your new field is created with the same name as the system field, with “clone” added to the name.
4. Click the link that pops up to edit your new field.
